The Real World’s Andrew Tate in Jail

In late January, the influencer known as the real-world tate login Tate sat in a stark jail cell in a four-story police structure in Bucharest. He’d been there since Dec. 29, charged in Romania with rape, human trafficking and forming an organized crime group to sexually exploit women. He’d continued to send messages to his more than 5 million followers the entire time he’s been in detention, sharing news of cockroaches, lice and bed bugs being his only “friends at night” and about growing a full head of hair during his detention (this was a response to critics who pointed out he had a half-moon of thin hair on his scalp in courthouse photos).

Between AI Research and Practical Implementations in the Real World

Despite Tate being banned from Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, he continues to attract millions of fans across his various platforms – including his online learning platform The Real World. Marketed as a global community of like-minded individuals striving to acquire an abundance of wealth, the app has proven wildly popular among young men and boys worldwide. Social media is flooded with content from members, often in their early teens, boasting about the money they’ve made and encouraging others to join.

Although the hodgepodge of misogyny and alt-right ideology might turn some away, for many members it seems to be a lifeline in an increasingly uncertain and unstable economy. Some ask him how to make enough to pay their medical bills, or the rent – and they are desperate to find answers.
